Arizona Desert Appraisal leads the pack when it comes to technology

We're just going to come right out and admit something: We are technology junkies. We use the latest technology around to bring you high quality, accurate appraisals.

The appraisal process has rapidly evolved lately and most would say, it's a lot more demanding than in the past. Cutting corners on analysis isn't an option for an ethical appraiser. So, the logical place to save time is in our daily workflow. We strive to be the very best, and we've found that using the very latest in new technology allows us to provide more comprehensive reports in less time and of course, the very best in customer service.

Let Arizona Desert Appraisal show you how we innovate ordering appraisals

Way back when, a great deal of orders were delivered via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we arrived at the office. Often, in this scenario, it might of taken quite a while to hear back to see if the order could be taken. Things are quite a bit different now and when an order is placed on the site, we get an e-mail on our phones. We can even log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.

At Arizona Desert Appraisal we understand it's all about "cycle time". We use our resources to reduce waiting between communications since the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. Through features on this website, we can actually speed up the entire appraisal process.

Arizona Desert Appraisal is a pioneer in efficient data gathering

The appraisal process is nothing if not a data intensive activity. We spend a lot of our time collecting the facts on the subject property and the local market data and trends. Once again, technology has stepped in to help Arizona Desert Appraisal.

We've learned that taking notes regularly, using pencil and paper, generally takes longer since we we have to enter everything back in at the office. Don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using an app created for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on the spot. Rather than using that clumsy outdated tape measure, more and more appraisers are adopting laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.

Using this technology allows us to ensure that your report is reliable and complete. This works to both our advantages by requiring less time for call-backs and revisions. Our goal is to save you time and money.

Here at Arizona Desert Appraisal we want you to know you have more ways to receive your report.

At a very minimum, you can expect us to deliver your final report electronically as a PDF. Generally our clients are most comfortable with receiving PDFs attached to their e-mail. It's much more efficient than the old days when everything was on paper. But, we've even been able to improve on e-mail with how you receive your report with this website.

Everyone knows how frustrating it is to lose a file. Or have you ever had an attachment blocked because of the file size? We have the technology to overcome those problems, too.  Whenever we send an appraisal, the client is e-mailed a download link to retrieve the PDF. By bypassing email completely we can get around any problems caused by file size. And the best thing is that the file will be hosted on this site for 90 days. So if anything happens to the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again - saving you time, since we won't even need to run back to the computer.

Arizona Desert Appraisal simplifies things by using Digital Workfiles

It would probably be easier if appraisers could never have to think about an assignment again after writing and giving it to the client. But one of the purposes of an appraisal is as a legal document outlining the condition of a property on a specific date. Therefore, appraisers are required by law to keep their reports for 5 years in case any disputes or other matters arise regarding the property.

To sum it all up, Arizona Desert Appraisal leverages our embracing of technology to improve service. By storing every aspect of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we skip the outdated file folders and only need our computer to recall just what that job was about.

We just wanted to give you a little bit of insight into how we use our technology daily. Using the right software, services, gadgets and gizmos allows the appraiser to deliver reports quicker, more efficiently and with higher degrees of accuracy.
